dc.description.abstractA Saúde Coletiva integrando áreas de conhecimento distintas traz à tona a dimensão social, coletiva e política da saúde. Temas como corpo e lazer são debatidos na área da Educação Física e fazem parte dos desafios relativos às necessidades sociais em saúde. Este artigo objetiva apontar possíveis benefícios que a Educação Física conseguiria, por meio da aproximação com referenciais da Saúde Coletiva, mediante a apresentação de formas possíveis de compreender a atividade física como auxiliar na busca de saúde de indivíduos e coletivos. Contrapõe, assim, a forma prescritivo normativa com que a atividade física vem sendo ‘receitada’ aos indivíduos.pt_BR
