dc.description.abstractO tema deste trabalho são as atribuições do assistente social no âmbito dos cuidados paliativos, indicados àqueles que estão à margem da cura. A efetivação da principal proposta dos cuidados paliativos, a produção da qualidade de vida, depende da intervenção interprofissional de uma equipe multidisciplinar, da qual faz parte o assistente social. Experimentando a rotina de um hospital oncológico de referência na cidade do Rio de Janeiro, sobretudo os questionamentos à presença do assistente social nesse espaço, e, diante do presente exposto, delimitamos o objetivo de apresentar quais são as atribuições do assistente social no interior dos cuidados paliativos e, mais especificamente, identificar as publicações mais recentes e digitalmente acessíveis a propósito. Para tal, consultamos as bases SciELO, LILACS e BVS Brasil, levantando o material bibliográfico, e levamos adiante uma revisão narrativa de literatura. Por fim, tecemos alguns comentários e apontamentos.pt_BR

dc.terms.abstractThe subject of this paper is the attributions of the social worker in palliative care, indicated to those who are aside of healing. The realization of palliative care's main intent depends on the interprofessional intervention of a multidisciplinary, wich icludes the social worker. Experiencing the routine of a reference oncological hospital in the city of Rio de Janeiro, especially the questions that regards the presence of the social worker at this space, we delimited that the objective of these lines is presenting what are the attributions of the social worker in palliative care and, more specifically, identify most recent and digitally acessible publications about it. In order to do it, we consulted the SciELO, LILACS and BVS Brasil databases, surveying the bibliographic material, and carried out a narrative literature review. Finally, we make some comments and notes.pt_BR
