Abstract
Resultados: No biênio, a
medicamentos.
Objectives: To analyze nursing care indicators in a chemotherapy clinic of a public oncology hospital from 2017 to 2018. Methods: This is a retrospective descriptive study with a quantitative approach. For analysis, measures of central tendency, variability and incidence 2 were used. Results: In the biennium, extravasation of antineoplastic chemotherapeutic drugs incidence ranged from 0.00% to 0.96%. The indicator that presented the lowest variation coefficient 0.77% and 0.48%, respectively, was an adverse reaction to medication. What fluctuated 1.79% and 0.69%, respectively, was near miss related to medication administration. In 2018, the incidence of loss of central venous catheter ranged from 0.00% to 0.21% and the incidence of chemotherapy spill ranged from 0.00% to 0.36%. Conclusions: There is a reduction in the mean incidence rates of extravasation, but an increase in the incidence of near miss related to the administration of medications and adverse reaction to chemotherapy.
