Infecção por HPV em mulheres HIV-positivas

Abstract

Este trabalho constitui-se em uma revisão bibliográfica. Objetiva discorrer sobre as infecções causadas pelo HPV na cérvice uterina das mulheres brasileiras soropositivas para o HIV. Está organizado de modo a descrever ambos os vírus: suas estruturas, seus genótipos, suas patogenias e seus históricos. Além disso, este trabalho traz também um breve histórico do rastreio citopatológico com destaque para o Sistema Bethesda e para a Nomenclatura Brasileira para Laudos Cervicais e Condutas Preconizadas. Por fim, descreve as condutas clínicas para as pacientes imunodeprimidas. Relaciona artigos que possuem como objeto de estudo a infecção por HPV em mulheres HIV-positivas. Reafirma a importância da realização do teste de Papanicolaou como forma de rastreio das lesões precursoras do câncer de cérvice.

This paper presents a review. It aims to discuss the infections caused by HPV in the uterine cervix of HIV-positive Brazilian women. It is organized to describe both viruses: their structures, their genotypes, their pathogens and their histories. In addition, it also brings a brief history of the cytopathological screening, with emphasis on the Bethesda System and the Brazilian Nomenclature for Cervical Reports and Recommended Procedures. Finally, it describes the clinical conducts for immunodepressed patients. Relates articles that study HPV infection in HIV-positive women. Reaffirms the importance of the Papanicolaou test of screening the precursor lesions of cervical cancer.
