dc.description.abstractIntrodução: Trata-se de uma revisão de literatura que aborda a temática Prevenção de Infecção do Sítio Cirúrgico frente as ações do Enfermeiro. Questão Norteadora: Como o enfermeiro deve atuar na Prevenção da Infecção no Sítio Cirúrgico? Objetivo: o papel do enfermeiro na Prevenção da Infecção no Sítio Cirúrgico. Metodologia: Levantamento bibliográfico visando a busca de dados sobre a atuação do enfermeiro na prevenção da infecção no sítio cirúrgico. Coleta de dados nas bases de dados da Biblioteca Virtual de saúde e google acadêmico, utilizando os descritores: Prevenção, Infecção no Sítio Cirúrgico e Enfermagem Perioperatória. Constituiu-se na análise minuciosa de seis artigos, que atenderam os critérios de inclusão da pesquisa. Resultados: Há necessidade do enfermeiro no controle da infecção no período perioperatório para diminuir os efeitos adversos. Todavia, com o aumento da demanda, a falta de atualização e qualificação e escassez de mão de obra, podem atuar diretamente na inobservância de algumas práticas. Concluise que um cuidado embasado em conhecimentos teóricos, protocolos, relacionamento interpessoal e amparo humanizado e individualizado, são iniciativas imprescindíveis para diminuir danos ao paciente cirúrgico e proporcionar uma assistência qualificada.
dc.description.abstractenIntroduction: This is a literature review that addresses the theme Prevention of Infection of the Surgical Site in front of the actions of the Nurse. Guiding Question: How should the nurse act in the Prevention of Infection in the Surgical Site? Objective: The role of the nurse in the Prevention of Infection in the Surgical Site. Methodology: Bibliographic survey aiming at the search of data about the nurse's performance in the prevention of infection in the surgical site. Data collection in the Virtual Health Library databases and academic google, using the descriptors: Prevention, Infection in the Surgical Site and Perioperative Nursing. It was constituted in the thorough analysis of six articles, which met the criteria for research inclusion. Results: There is a need of the nurse to control the infection in the perioperative period to reduce the adverse effects. However, with the increase of the demand, the lack of updating and qualification and scarcity of manpower, they can act directly in the non-observance of some practices. It is concluded that a care based on theoretical knowledge, protocols, interpersonal relationship and humanized and individualized support are essential initiatives to reduce damage to the surgical patient and provide qualified assistance.
