Abordagem Humanizada no Tratamento Radioterápico de Metástases Cerebrais

Abstract

Introdução. Ao realizar atendimento de um paciente com metástases cerebrais, o profissional técnico em radioterapia deve tratá-lo com toda a atenção no que concerne à segurança do paciente, pois muitas vezes, ele já chega bem fragilizado, com sintomas como cefaléias bem fortes, declínio cognitivo, dificuldade de comunicação, etc. Nesse contexto, uma abordagem humanizada desse paciente tende a tranquilizá-lo e fazê-lo criar uma relação de confiança com o técnico, tornando-o mais receptivo e possibilitando a reprodutibilidade com mais fluidez do seu posicionamento durante todo o tratamento. Objetivo geral: Demonstrar as modalidades de radioterapia nos tratamentos de metástases cerebrais com foco na atuação e abordagem humanizada do profissional técnico em radioterapia. Objetivos específicos: Descrever os métodos de terapia por radiação indicados para o tratamento de metástases cerebrais. Descrever a atuação do profissional técnico em radioterapia quanto aos seus conhecimentos e habilidades, no tratamento de metástases cerebrais, com foco na abordagem humanizada. Metodologia. Foi feito uma revisão narrativa e buscou-se demonstrar através de estudos e bibliografias relatadas, a importância do ato de humanizar o serviço de atendimento à saúde, em especial, o serviço de radioterapia. Desenvolvimento. Embora não se tenha relatos exclusivos associados aos serviços de radioterapia, constatou se que nos setores, onde a atitude humanizada está presente, houve diferença na qualidade de vida dos pacientes envolvidos, visto que o quadro de bem estar geral do paciente inclui também, seu âmbito social e emocional, além do físico. Conclusão. Muito se ouve falar sobre abordagem humanizada, mas na prática, essa conduta ainda está em construção e como algo que realmente traz diferença para o tratamento do paciente, é essencial que o técnico em radioterapia busque essa difusão constantemente.

When performing care for a patient with brain metastases, the radiotherapy technician must treat him with the utmost attention regarding patient safety, as he often arrives very fragile, with symptoms such as very strong headaches, cognitive decline , communication difficulties, etc. In this context, a humanized approach to this patient tends to reassure him and make him create a relationship of trust with the technician, making him more receptive and allowing for a more fluid reproducibility of his positioning throughout the treatment. General objective: To demonstrate the modalities of radiotherapy in the treatment of brain metastases with a focus on the performance and humanized approach of the technical professional in radiotherapy. Specific objectives: To describe the radiation therapy methods indicated for the treatment of brain metastases. To describe the performance of the technical professional in radiotherapy regarding their knowledge and skills, in the treatment of brain metastases, focusing on the humanized approach. Methodology. A narrative review was carried out and we sought to demonstrate through studies and reported bibliographies, the importance of the act of humanizing the health care service, in particular, the radiotherapy service. Development. Although there are no exclusive reports associated with radiotherapy services, it was found that in the sectors, where the humanized attitude is present, there was a difference in the quality of life of the patients involved, since the general well-being of the patient also includes their social and emotional realm, in addition to the physical. Conclusion. Much is heard about the humanized approach, but in practice, this approach is still under construction and as something that really makes a difference to the patient's treatment, it is essential that the radiotherapy technician constantly seeks this diffusion.
