In order to maximize the efficiency of the industrial process, storing the seeds already treated with fungicides and insecticides is very important. However, little is known about the outcome of this practice. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of the treatment of seeds of corn hybrids of different sizes with fungicides and insecticides and subjected to different storage conditions, on the performance of the crop at field. Seeds of the 2B647PW, BM915 PRO and SHS4070 hybrids were classified in two sizes (CH20 / 64 and CH24 / 64) and were treated with Carbendazim + Tiram (Derosal Plus®), Deltametrin (Actellic® ), Pirimiphos methyl (K-obiol®) and water [standard treatment]. In addition to the standard treatment, treatments with clothianidin (Poncho®) were added to the syrup mixture; thiamethoxam (Cruizer®) and fipronil (Shelter®). After being treated the seeds were subjected to three storage conditions before sowing in the summer and four storage conditions for the autumn planting. As conclusion,,the chemical treatments and different storage conditions did not interfere in the productivity of hybrids of maize 2B647 PW, BM915 PRO and SHS4070, regardless of seed size and sowing time.
