dc.description.abstractEste artigo pretende analisar a trajetória de uma criança com câncer e de sua família na busca pelo tratamento de saúde, problematizando a relação entre a política pública de saúde e o judiciário. Refletindo sobre o tratamento oncológico especificamente voltado às crianças cujas mães fazem uso prejudicial de crack. O artigo pretende discutir a relevância de serem observados os direitos à saúde e à vida dessas crianças na relação com as especificidades apresentadas por essas famílias, garantindo assim, o acesso ao tratamento mesmo diante das dificuldades de acesso à mãe da criança, que não deve ser culpabilizada pelo adoecimento da filha nem utilizada como justificativa para a desassistência da mesma.-

dc.description.abstractenThis article aims to analyze the trajectory of a child with cancer and his family in the search for health treatment, problematizing the relationship between public health policy and the judiciary. Reflecting on cancer treatment specifically aimed at children whose mothers use harmful crack, the article intends to discuss the relevance of observing the rights to health and life of these children in relation to the specificities presented by these families, thus ensuring access to the treatment even in the face of difficulties of access to the mother of the child, who should not be blamed for the illness of the daughter nor used as a justification for the absence of the same.-
